Palm Royale Resort
When I remember Egypt, I can feel the high noon sun. I can see the turquoise water. I smile when I think about many traditionally dressed people walking through historic streets.
While the images in my memories were joyful, I had a powerful desire to present unique photographs.
My philosophy was simple: feature images that catch people’s attention. Capture moments that make people stop and stare.
Planning a perfect photoshoot is always challenging. In Egypt, pre-production strategy was the secret to success. We had a lot of ground to cover. There were deadlines each day, lots of guests walking through the resort, and assignments within four restaurants and three bars.
My team had excellent communication with the hotel staff. It is something we have become very experienced in. It allowed us to complete a complex photography project under time pressure.
After 7 days, we produced over 70 images capturing the essence of Palm Royale. They make you want to stop, stare, and experience the luxury property. They get your attention.
