I want to thank everyone that was a part of my last year's journey and thank my clients for trusting in my vision and for letting me do what I love.

Beginning of April I was approached by an agency Young & Rubicam Prague to create series of portraits (headshots) for a client Ceska Pojistovna. It was given to specifically because of my previous engagement in the Agency where I've discussed with their producer my personal work - headshots. I've had a lot of experience in pulling the best out of people when they're in front of the camera.

Retouching, I do it, and I recommend everybody do it for themselves. When you know the stuff and more and more work is coming towards you, go ahead and send your work to a retoucher.

This job was also a result of hard work, firstly on mine - honing my craft and on my (you've guessed it) wife's who contacted relevant people that could use headshots.

But how do you make controlled fire and not burn everything down? Well, preparation and trial and error of course.

Remember my last post? I know I sound a bit silly now but I've always wanted to add snowy mountains into my portfolio. I'd prefer to do it when the temperature is 15+ Celsius, however.... you know how it is.

Having that though in mind I reached to local Mountain Service office with proposal to make advertising images for them if they help me with transportation and logistics. Who could say no?! Exactly....

Last year my hard work finally brought a result that made my heart almost stop, shooting in Sri Lanka in the middle of December? Why not! I've always hated the winter and snow so this was a great way to escape that and warm up my bones. So I've packed my gear, got on a plane with my wife/assistant and a producer to help me manage things. Here's the video.
